Search for missing Kyle goes on
Emergency services are continuing to search for a boy who has been missing since he rowed out to sea with a friend more than five days ago.
Kyle Moore and his friend Richard Webb, both 14 and from Portland, Dorset, took a boat from a boatyard in the early hours on Sunday.
Richard was rescued when the boat capsized in Portland Harbour but Kyle has not turned up.
Sue Moore, Kyle's mother, said she was "optimistic" but anxious for news.
Ch Insp Bob Nichols, of Dorset Police, said: "Sue and her family are dealing with this very harrowing situation with great dignity and optimism.
"They have remained in close contact with the Webb family, who live nearby."
