Divers rescued after vessel fire

Six divers and a crew member have been rescued after their boat's engine caught fire off the Dorset coast.

The group issued a Mayday call from their vessel Top Gun near Chesil Beach, Portland, on Saturday afternoon.

The RNLI lifeboat from Weymouth was scrambled but the divers and crew had already been rescued by people on board another dive boat.

No-one was injured and the fire had been put out before the vessel was towed back to shore.
