Two injured in boat gas explosion

Two men have been taken to hospital after a gas explosion on a boat.

Brixham Coastguard said the boat was moored at Mayflower Marina in Plymouth, Devon, when the explosion happened on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the men were injured when a bottle of liquefied petroleum gas exploded.

An ambulance took the men to the city's Derriford Hospital. Their condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
