Pupils diagnosed with swine flu

Two pupils have been diagnosed with swine flu at a grammar school in Devon.

The Year 11 and Year 12 students, who attend Colyton Grammar School, are both said to have "very mild cases" of the virus.

A letter informing parents about the two cases was given to pupils to take home with them at the end of the school day.

Paul Evans, head teacher, said he had no plans to close the school as a result of the two cases of swine flu.

The overall figure for confirmed cases in the south west of England is 173.
