Trio in court over head stabbing

Three men charged with wounding after a man was stabbed in the head during an attack in Plymouth have appeared before magistrates in the city.

Police were called to an address in the Lipson area of the city on Monday night, where they discovered the man, who is believed to be in his 30s.

He was taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening head injuries.

The three local men, who are aged 45, 40 and 21, are due to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on 16 March 2009.
