Taser gun used on man after siege

Taser stun gun

A man was subdued with a Taser stun gun after a three-hour siege at a house in Devon.

Police officers were called to a Brixham property after reports that a woman and four teenage girls were being assaulted on Saturday night.

Shortly after police arrived a 30-year-old woman and teenagers were able to leave the house.

A man later armed himself with knives and threatened officers. A man was subdued with a Taser gun and arrested.

The stun gun incapacitates the victim with an electric shock.

The woman and two 14-year-old girls were taken to Torbay Hospital for treatment.

A 36-year-old man is being held in custody at Torquay police station.
