Travelling group could be removed
A group of travellers in east Devon are facing court action to move them on.
Three travellers have been living in caravans at Stoneyford Lane, Newton Poppleford, for the past seven months.
Devon County Council is seeking a possession order on the land, but the travellers have said they are a small group not causing trouble.
Adjoining landowner Clinton Devon Estates said its crops and hedges had been damaged and the site was not suitable for lengthy stays.
Some of the travellers moved to the current site after being evicted from nearby Green Lane, at Tipton St John, in March.
