Car owners have been warned to stay away from a seaside car park after it was lashed by heavy waves causing parked vehicles to smash together.
Police have sealed off the car park at Cheyne Beach in Ilfracombe, Devon, as it is still flooded after the storm.
At least one car has already been written off and others are damaged.
Officers have asked motorists who left their cars in the car park to be patient and wait until the area is safe before trying to return.
Joe Heard, from Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "A number of cars have been affected. At least one of them has been written off and there's a dozen others with body damage.
"There are reports of them being flipped over or turned on their sides by the force of the waves."
He said some of the vehicles would have to be towed, rather than driven, away.
