Family rescued from flood water

Four people have been rescued by fire crews after the car they were in became trapped by flood water.

Emergency services were called to Henscott Bridge, near Holsworthy in north Devon at about 1830 BST.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines from Holsworthy and Hatherleigh were sent to the incident.

Crews used dry suits and water safety equipment to rescue two adults and two children from the car. No-one was hurt.
