Protest over child behaviour unit
People living close to the site of a proposed unit for children with behavioural problems in north Devon say they will fight the plans.
Some residents in the Pilton area of Barnstaple say they are worried about the disruption that could be caused by the planned centre for 25 youngsters.
Devon County Council said that no plans had been finalised and that a public consultation was under way.
It said units were needed to help teach children with conditions such as ADHD.
