Three rescued from flood-hit car

Three elderly people have been rescued from Bodmin Moor after their car got trapped by floodwater.

Police had to remove the vehicle from about 1ft (30cm) of water between Bolventor and Harrowbridge along the River Fowey.

The people inside were unhurt. The road had to be closed on Friday night but has since re-opened.

Firefighters were called to pump out water on Friday evening from a farm at St Clether near Launceston.
