Airport land viewed for housing
Talks are being held to sell Plymouth Airport land to make way for a new housing development.
The proposal is being discussed by the airport's owners Plymouth City Council and Sutton Harbour, who run it on a long lease.
About 18 acres of land could be released for the development.
A spokesman for the Devon and Cornwall Business Council said housing on the site could constrain any future airport developments.
A report on the plan is to go before council members at a later date.
