Leak delays pool's summer opening
Plymouth City Council says it is "disappointed" that it will have to delay the summer opening of the outdoor pools at Mount Wise.
The pools were due to open on Saturday but a problem with the nearby pumping station means there is foul water leaking into the changing rooms.
A valve has now been fitted to prevent any more water leaking into the site.
But the damage to flooring and doors now needs to repaired and the council hopes the pools will re-open by 4 June.
