Children found sheltering in wood

Two girls and a boy aged nine, 10 and 13, were found safe and well on Saturday after an all-night search by ground teams and an RAF helicopter.

The three were found in a wood near Barnstaple in north Devon where they had taken shelter for the night.

The search started on Friday evening after reports that the children had gone missing from Bishops Tawton.

Devon and Cornwall Police organised the search with the help of a helicopter from RAF Chivenor.
