City trial of home seller packs
A trial of home information packs (HIPs) aimed at reducing the number of house sales which fall through has begun in a Devon city.
Plymouth is one of 12 new locations where the packs are being tested.
The packs, which include legal and local authority searches and energy efficiency information, will become a legal requirement in June.
HIPs shift the emphasis from the house buyer to the seller to collate information before a property is sold.
