Missing man's body found at cliff

The body of a holidaymaker from Southampton has been found at the foot of cliffs in east Devon.

William Bane, 70, disappeared on Sunday. Coastguards, police and the Dartmoor Rescue Group searched for him.

His body was found at the foot of cliffs to the east of Axmouth harbour on Monday morning.

The body was recovered and taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and the coroner informed, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
