A 26-year-old man is in hospital following a serious assault at a Derbyshire pub.
Officers were called to an incident at the Plough Inn in Sandiacre at about 2345 BST on Wednesday.
The victim suffered head and facial injures and was taken to the Derbyshire Royal Hospital.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident. Derbyshire Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
