Ideas for the major redevelopment of a hospital site have been revealed.
Twenty acres of land at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary (DRI) will be available when emergency services move over to a new super hospital site next year.
Suggestions for the London Road plot include housing, shops, a new primary school and a multi-storey car park.
People are being asked for their comments on the redevelopment and a planning application will be submitted next year.
The Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will keep about a third of the land on the DRI site for healthcare provision.
Consultation events will take place on 27 and 28 November at the Stuart Hotel in Derby.
