Three robbers threaten shop staff

Staff at a Derbyshire shop are recovering after being threatened by three robbers.

Three men forced staff to hand over cash at the Co-op store on Draycott Road in Sawley on Saturday evening at about 2100 BST.

"The men threatened the staff and told them they had a firearm, but one was not produced," a police spokesman said.

The staff, two men and a woman, handed over a small amount of cash to the robbers who fled the store.

No-one was injured but the staff members were left shaken.
