Football fraud suspects in court

Jeremy Keith

Three former directors of Derby County Football Club have appeared in court charged with fraud.

Ex-chief executive Jeremy Keith, former director of football Murdo Mackay and ex-finance director Andrew Mackenzie appeared at Northampton Crown Court.

All are charged with conspiracy to defraud and conceal criminal property relating to a takeover at the club in October 2003.

The case was adjourned until 30 May when pleas should be entered.

The case has no connection with the club's current board.
