The RAF and four mountain rescue teams are helping the police look for a man who has been missing for three days.
Martin Gent, 39, was last seen in his home town of Spalding in Lincolnshire on Monday and is believed to be in the the south Stainmore area of Cumbria.
His car, a silver Vauxhall Vectra, was discovered near Ewebank Forest by a member of the public on Tuesday.
Mr Gent is 6ft 1in, and has a large cross tattoo on his right arm and a Chelsea tattoo on his right shoulder.
