Shop ram-raiders sought by police

Police are seeking ram-raiders who targeted a store in Cumbria.

A Landrover Defender was used to reverse into the door and windows of the Co-op store in Dalston, near Carlisle, in the early hours.

Two or three men then stole various items, but details of the theft have not yet been released.

They then fled in the vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Abbeytown on Monday. Any witnesses are asked to contact Cumbria Police.
