Tributes for crash death mother

Jacqueline Glencross

Tributes have been paid to a "devoted" mother-of-two who died in a car crash in West Cumbria.

Jacqueline Glencross, 36, from Maryport, died early on Saturday when the car in which she was travelling hit a wall on the A596 near Flimby.

Her family has now released a statement saying she had devoted her life to her children, Kieran, 12, and Sophie, nine.

A 43-year-old man from Salterbeck who was also in the car, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
