Lost fell walkers turn up at pub

Two fell walkers turned up safe and well after a three-hour search by mountain rescue volunteers.

Wasdale and Cockermouth teams were called out on Saturday evening after the man and woman became lost in cloud at Beck Head on Great Gable.

Around 18 volunteers were involved in the operation, which also concentrated on Kirk Fell, Mosedale and Blacksail.

The walkers eventually turned up at the Fox and Hounds pub in Ennerdale Bridge after finding their way to safety.
