Thousands due at music festival

More than 70,000 people are expected to attend a three-day music and entertainment festival in Coventry, organisers have said.

The Godiva Festival, which runs until Sunday, is the UK's biggest free festival and is being held in the War Memorial Park for the 12th year.

On Saturday a carnival procession will start outside BBC Coventry and Warwickshire in Priory Place at noon.

Other entertainment includes 80s pop band Go West performing on Friday.
