Gerry Tobin

The jury in the trial of six men accused of killing a Hells Angel after a biker festival has gone home after deliberating for more than 19 hours.

The defendants, from Coventry, Nuneaton and Milton Keynes, have all denied murder and firearms charges at Birmingham Crown Court.

A seventh man, Sean Creighton, 44, of Coventry, admitted murdering Gerry Tobin at a previous hearing.

Mr Tobin, 35, of London, was killed on the M40 in Warwickshire in August 2007.

Karl Garside, 45, Simon Turner, 41, Dane Garside, 42, Malcolm Bull, 53, Dean Taylor, 47, and 46-year-old Ian Cameron all pleaded not guilty.

Creighton has also admitted firearms offences.

The panel will resume its discussions at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday.
