Airport loses High Court appeal
Coventry Airport has lost its High Court appeal to build a terminal capable of handling more than two million passengers a year.
The airport issued a statement saying it was disappointed at the news and would be looking at the full report.
The airport took the matter to the High Court after a public inquiry found the terminal would have an adverse impact on noise in the area.
The airport has said the terminal would be good for the region.
Its expansion plans for its Baginton site were rejected by the planning authority, Warwick District Council.
