Man bailed after gun shots fired

A 22-year-old man arrested after shots were fired at a parked car in Warwickshire has been released on bail.

Emergency services and armed police were called to Freemantle Close in Rugby on Wednesday evening following reports of gunshots being heard.

They found a car which had been fired at and all its windows smashed.

The bailed man had been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life. A 17-year-old youth remains in custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm.

No-one was injured in the incident.
