Fire breaks out at nursing home

Nearly 50 nursing home residents had to be moved out after fire destroyed most of their building.

Up to 50 firefighters tackled the blaze at Richmond Lodge Nursing Home in Bedworth, Warwickshire, during Sunday afternoon.

The residents are now being looked after at properties within the nursing home's complex.

A fire spokesman said 60% of the building was destroyed and crews were at the scene for several hours.
