Cycle route between towns sought

Campaigners calling for a "proper cycle route" between two Warwickshire towns have taken part in rallies.

Dozens of people turned out for the action in the towns at the Pump Room Gardens, Leamington, and Abbey Fields, Kenilworth, on Saturday morning.

The local cycle campaign group Cycleways said drivers would like to try commuting by bike on the A452 but are deterred by conditions on the road.

Warwickshire County Council has been unavailable for comment.
