Cyclist, 34, killed in collision

A cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Warwickshire.

The collision happened earlier on the Fosse Way at Bretford, near Rugby, a police spokesman said.

The 34-year-old cyclist was taken to University Hospital in Coventry for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

The 32-year-old driver of the car was not injured. Warwickshire Police said appealed for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
