Guests moved in hotel pool fire

Hotel guests had to leave their rooms when a fire started in the building's swimming pool.

About 100 people staying overnight at the Ettington Park Hotel in Stratford Road, Alderminster, Warwickshire, had to be moved to different rooms.

Up to 30 firefighters were called to the scene on Sunday morning as the hotel was heavily smoke-logged.

Hotel spokeswoman Maria Hardman said no-one was injured during the incident and the fire was a small one.
