Walker is injured in park assault

A man was attacked by two men who tried to steal his money as he walked in a park, said Warwickshire Police.

The incident happened in Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa, at about 1300 BST on Thursday.

The victim was treated in Warwick Hospital for a head injury following the assault.

Police said one attacker was black and the other was Asian. Anyone with information is asked to contact Leamington Spa police station.
