Libraries damaged on same night

Three libraries in north Warwickshire have been vandalised on the same night.

Seven double-glazed windows were damaged on the Smarts Road side of Bedworth Heath Library in Bedworth and two windows were broken at the front.

Repairs are estimated to cost £3,000 after that incident while eight double-glazed windows were broken at Keresley Newland Library, Keresley End.

The Grendon Library, Grendon, was also damaged in the incidents between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

The disabled handrail was damaged at Grendon along with slabs attached to it.

Initial investigations have found that during early evenings youths have been seen gathering at the front of these buildings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedworth police.
