Witnesses sought over fatal crash

Officers investigating a fatal accident are asking anyone who saw a group of bikers or a green Skoda car on the Fosse Way at the time to contact them.

Ben Karwacki, 21, of Shipston-on-Stour, was killed when his motorbike was in collision with the Skoda which was travelling in the opposite direction.

Police said five bikers were travelling towards Radford Semele when Thursday evening's crash took place.

The 21-year-old Skoda driver was uninjured in the crash.

Warwickshire Police said the five bikers had left the White Hart public house in Ufton and then travelled down Ufton Hill to the Radford Semele junction, before turning left onto the Fosse Way.

One of the motorbikes was in collision with the green Skoda on the Fosse Way between the junctions of Middle Road and Harbury Lane.
