The organisers of a major dance festival in Warwickshire have said they are confident it will go ahead this weekend, despite the recent floods.
More than 50,000 people are expected to pile into the Long Marston airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon for the Global Gathering event from Friday.
Event manager James Algate said the site had been left unaffected by recent heavy rain.
Acts including Faithless and Basement Jaxx will be headlining the event.
'Totally unaffected'
Many roads are still closed in Warwickshire, with towns in the south of the county worst hit by flooding, including Stratford, Alcester, Leamington, and Kenilworth.
However, those behind Global Gathering have said they are confident they will not affect festival-goers making their way to the event.
Mr Algate said: "We want to reassure ticketholders that after being on site over the past week, the airfield and traffic routes are totally unaffected by the recent floods.
"Despite the bad weather our customers have already been calling into the office saying they are determined to enjoy the weekend and that really shows the affection ticketholders have for the biggest dance event in the world."
