The county council's Warwick Area Committee has agreed a number of variations after consultation towards the end of last year.
There will now be more consultation in March over the amendments.
Responsibility for enforcing on-street waiting restrictions is passing from the police to the county council.
New parking arrangements are scheduled to be implemented in August.
Warwick District Council will operate the scheme dealing with parking offences on behalf of the county council under a partnership agreement.
Three traffic wardens and 11 car park inspectors in the district will be replaced by a team of 30 uniformed parking attendants.
The committee called for more consideration of how to provide parking spaces for disabled people in residential areas.
