Woman bailed over dead river baby

Artist's impression of Lilly A woman arrested by police investigating the death of a baby whose body was found by the River Alne in Warwickshire has been released on bail.

The woman was questioned on Tuesday on suspicion of concealing a birth.

Police named the child Baby Lilly after her body was found by a weir at Aston Cantlow on 11 May by a family who were out walking.

Lilly had suffered severe injuries including a fractured skull and collarbone.
