Clothes retailer creates 300 jobs

More than 300 jobs are being created at a new Primark store in Coventry.

The outlet is due to open in the Broadgate area in October. Nearly 20 managers will also be employed and recruitment starts later this month.

There will be open days on 22, 23 and 24 August at the city's Village Hotel in Dolomite Avenue.

The company employs more than 16,000 people - which it plans to increase to 23,000 over the next year - in its 137 stores in the UK, Spain and Ireland.
