Duck seen with dart in its head

A duck with a dart through its head has been seen swimming in a pool near a city centre.

The bird is thought to have had the dart in its head for a number of days.

The RSPCA said it had received a number of calls about the duck, which was spotted in a pool in the Swanswell area of Coventry.

BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire listener Chris Parker saw the bird. He said he could not understand who would have done such a thing.
