Detectives searching for missing Warwickshire teenager Jack Macleod are extending their river search.
Diving teams have been searching Leamington Spa's River Leam after the 17-year-old vanished early last Sunday.
He was last seen lying unconscious on a road bridge on Adelaide Road, close to the Leam.
The search is to be extended along the river to Stratford-upon-Avon but officers say they are keeping an open mind over his disappearance.
Det Insp Bob Bradbury said: "Whilst we are still trying to keep an open mind as to what might have happened to Jack there is a strong possibility he may have fallen in the river either innocently or as a victim and this is where we are now concentrating our search efforts.
"The search of the Leam continues and by the end of the week we hope to have searched all the way to Stratford."
Male voices
Two witnesses have reported hearing male voices between the hours of 0230 and 0330 GMT on 4 December. The witnesses thought the voices came from the riverbank, near the bowling club.
Police would like the men, or anyone else who heard shouting, to come forward.
Jack, also known as Jack Fisher, was seen walking with friends on the Adelaide Road bridge, over the River Leam. Minutes later he was spotted lying on the footpath.
Although no body has been found, a 17-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and released.
