Witness appeal over missing youth

Jack Macleod Detectives investigating the disappearance of a Warwickshire teenager have appealed for two witnesses to come forward.

Jack Macleod, 17, has not been seen since the early hours of Sunday when he was in Leamington's Pump Room Gardens, and it is feared he has been murdered.

Police are looking for a man who may have passed Jack on the Adelaide Road bridge and two men in a white car.

A Lighthorne Heath youth is being questioned on suspicion of his murder.

The man who may have passed Jack was walking towards Dale Street at about 0130 GMT on Sunday. Officers would like to know if he saw anything at that time.

They are also looking for two men wearing beanie hats who were sat in a small white car in York Road with the vehicle lights on. A witness said they were there from 0030 until at least 0100.

Finally, police would like the driver of a small white box van seen going towards town along Dale Street at about 0140 GMT.

Jack, who police describe as vulnerable, was last seen with friends leaving the Irish Club in Adelaide Road, where he worked.

His family raised the alarm when he failed to return from the night out.
