Inquest opened after swim death

An inquest into the death of man who got into trouble while swimming in the sea has been opened and adjourned by the Cornwall's coroner's office.

The body of Jonathan Boone, 21, was found at Godrevy beach, near St Ives, following a major search.

He disappeared after getting into difficulties while swimming off rocks with three other men on Tuesday.

Cliff rescuers, coastguards and lifeboats began the search on Tuesday. His body was found on Wednesday.
