Teenagers injured in bike crash

Two teenage boys were seriously injured when the motorbike they were riding crashed on a Cornish road.

The incident, involving a red Yamaha 125cc motorcycle, happened in Gover Road in St Austell at about 0115 GMT.

A 17-year-old and a 15-year-old, both local, were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro with "life-threatening injuries", police said.

Officers have appealed for any witnesses to the single vehicle crash to contact them.
