Man quizzed on fire at apartments

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a block of 18 flats in Cornwall.

Four fire engines attended a blaze at a third floor flat in College Green in St Austell on Sunday afternoon.

Police helped evacuate the building and no-one was injured. Residents were allowed to return to the building at 1900 GMT.

A 35-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of arson recklessly endangering life.
