A 23-year-old motorcycle rider has died following a collision with a car in Cornwall.

The rider, from Helston, suffered serious injuries after he collided with a Peugeot on the B3297 at Farms Common, near Helston, on Friday afternoon.

He was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, near Truro, where he later died, said a spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police.
