Missing man found dead in stream

Police in Cornwall are investigating the sudden death of a man who was found in a stream.

The body of the 66-year-old man was found in a small stream near Trevol Road in Torpoint at about 2200 GMT on Saturday evening.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said the man had been reported missing four hours earlier.

He added that - at this stage - the man's death did not appear to be suspicious.
