Children in Cornwall are being given a chance to learn Cornish through a series of new books.
The stories depict the fictional village of Porth, where the inhabitants speak Kernewek (or Cornish) as well as English.
The books, and accompanying interactive CD, were produced by the Cornish Language Partnership.
There are plans to give every year three (seven to eight-years-old) pupil in the county one of the books.
Author Will Coleman, who wrote the six books in the series, said: "I don't think anyone is going to keep Cornish alive if we don't.
"It is a cultural treasure trove that is, in so many ways, hardly explored.
"I think over the next few years we're going to see a lot more colourful explorations of Cornish language and identity."
