Motorcyclist killed in road crash

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on the A39 in Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident, involving a motorcycle and a lorry, near Treluswell, Penryn at about 1330 BST.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver was taken to hospital suffering from shock.

The road between Treluswell roundabout and Treliver has been closed for police investigators.
