Angler swept off rocks is named

An angler who died after being swept off rocks into the sea in Cornwall has been named.

Adrian Uden, who had recently moved to Launceston from Bodmin, had been fishing with friends at Rumps Point, near Polzeath on Friday.

Padstow lifeboat, Polzeath cliff rescue team and a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose were involved in the search.

The 33-year-old was pulled from the sea by a fishing boat. He was airlifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
